The New Realities of College Admissions: What Families Need to Know
College admissions is undergoing rapid change, leaving many families unsure how to navigate the process. With the impact of AI, test-optional policies, new government rules, and evolving institutional priorities, staying informed has never been more critical.
In this session, Laurie Kopp Weingarten, CEP, will break down the latest admissions trends. She’ll explain how these shifts impact key decision factors—academics, extracurriculars, essays, recommendations, and interviews—as well as strategic considerations like demonstrating interest and early decision. Families will gain insight into how to adapt and make informed choices in this changing landscape.
Participants will leave with a clear understanding of what truly matters and how to position their students for success in this increasingly competitive process.
